Not seeing a verification code can mean several things. The destination service may not have sent it, may have rejected the number, or the message may still be missing. The order page may also have failed to read or save a message. Identify where the problem happened before requesting another code or buying again.
1. Read the destination service's message
An invalid-number warning, a reuse limit or a temporary request restriction is different from a confirmation that an SMS was sent. Follow that service's instructions. If several delivery methods are offered, check which one is selected.
Keep the exact message and time instead of describing every case as “not working.” An input-format error and a number-acceptance decision require different checks. The destination service controls acceptance and sending.
2. Compare three details with the original order
Verify the selected service, country and complete number. Do not use a product for an unrelated service or enter a country code twice when the form already supplies it. Check the actual expiry too; an ended temporary session is not an active inbox.
Use the original order as your reference, rather than a forwarded message, an old screenshot or another order. When several tabs are open, it is easy to enter the number from one order while monitoring the inbox of another.
3. Separate waiting, history and read errors
Waiting for SMS means there is no new message at that moment. It does not promise one will arrive. Saved SMS history can coexist with a waiting state, so seeing an old code does not establish that the latest request produced another message.
A query, save or history-loading error means that operation did not complete normally. It is not proof that no SMS ever arrived. Preserve the error and use the page's retry or refresh control on the original order where available. A display failure does not turn a completed purchase into a failed purchase.
4. Give support the results of your checks
Provide the order reference, the destination service's message, the time, the current order state and what you checked. Keep screenshots focused and hide codes, passwords and private account information. Support needs the particular order to investigate; another top-up is not evidence about it.
Temporary cancellation has timing, no-SMS and availability conditions. Requesting cancellation does not mean the refund is finished, and balance updates can take time. Long-term purchases and renewals have different rules. Read the refund policy, and do not repeat a purchase while its outcome is still being checked. The support preparation guide explains what to include.
