How to Check Your Number’s Expiry and Renewal Options

Find the expiry on your original order, check the renewal options and price, then confirm the new end time after renewal completes.

To keep using a number, start with the expiry shown on its original order. The purchase date, SMS timestamp and catalog listing date tell you different things. Buying a number recently does not tell you when it expires.

Identify the product you own

Temporary numbers provide a 20-minute SMS session and cannot be renewed. Use the order's remaining time. Long-term products have their own validity terms and do not promise permanent retention. For US non-VoIP numbers, the initial term varies and is roughly a month. Do not assume it will be exactly 30 days from payment.

If the expiry fails to load or appears unreadable, preserve the message and contact support. Do not calculate an exact end time from an article's approximate description, or assume that missing information means the order has already expired.

Renew through the original order

Open the number you want to keep and check whether a renewal option is available. Confirm the order and number, then review the current price and available renewal period. Eligibility differs by order, country and number category.

A RenewCard in the shop is a purchase category. Buying it does not automatically extend a number you already own. Buying the same service and country again also does not guarantee you will get the same number. Continued access to that number starts with the actions offered on its existing order.

Check before and after confirmation

Before confirming, note the existing expiry and review the number, price and renewal period. Afterward, return to the original order and check the result and updated expiry. A lower balance alone does not prove that renewal completed. A page that has not updated yet is not a reason to pay again.

If the result is processing, awaiting review or unknown, keep the original order and contact support with the time and displayed message. Do not repeat the same renewal through another entry point or buy another card to repair an uncertain result. Those actions may create separate purchases.

When no renewal option is offered

First confirm that you are viewing the correct long-term order. Check the order details for an explanation. Adding funds will not make an ineligible number renewable, and an expired number may not be recoverable. Check before you need continued access so there is time to clarify the options.

Long-term purchases and paid renewals are non-refundable. Check the current quote on the original order before confirming. See the pricing guide and the renewal section of the buying guide.
